Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ChaseOwl (the “Service”), operated by ChaseOwl, operated by XodusCorp (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them.
1. The Service
ChaseOwl stores invoice details you provide and sends payment reminder emails to the recipients you specify, on a schedule you control. We do not process, hold or guarantee payment of your invoices, and we are not a debt collection agency.
2. Your responsibilities
You confirm that each invoice is genuine, that you have a business relationship with each recipient, and that you are entitled to contact them about the amount owed. You are responsible for the content of your reminder templates. You must not use the Service to send spam, harassment, threats, or messages that violate debt-collection, consumer-protection or anti-spam laws in your or your recipient's jurisdiction. We may suspend accounts that generate abuse complaints or high bounce rates.
3. Accounts
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to that mailbox secure. You must be at least 18 and using the Service for business purposes.
4. Plans and billing
Paid plans (Pro, $9/month; Unlimited, $19/month, USD) are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in the billing portal; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. If you downgrade, invoices above your plan's limit are paused, not deleted. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. We will give at least 30 days' notice of price changes.
5. Availability
We aim for reliable delivery but do not guarantee that any email will be delivered, opened, or result in payment. The Service is provided “as is”.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including unpaid invoices.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
8. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will notify you by email of material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA.
